    Window-side single seats (A and K) offer the best privacy. Avoid centre pairs (E/F) unless travelling with a partner. The bulkhead row 1 has extra legroom but limited storage at takeoff.

    The retrofitted 787-9 has a 38-seat Club Suite cabin. Front-row solo window seats book out first. The mini-cabin behind the galley is the quietest section.

    Largest BA Club Suite cabin on a 787 (~48 seats). No First cabin on this variant.

    A350 cabin is the quietest in the BA long-haul fleet. The mini-cabin behind row 12 is the most private.
  • Boeing 777-200ER — 1-2-1 · 31 of 43 aircraft
    Smaller Club Suite cabin (~49 seats) than you might expect for the type. Confirm the operating tail on SeatRadar before booking — this is the BA fleet where it matters most.
  • Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner — 1-2-1 · Fleet-wide (all 12 aircraft)
    The smallest Club Suite cabin in the fleet at 31 seats, which makes it feel notably more intimate than the 787-9 or 787-10. Solo travellers should take the A and K window suites.

Fleet rollout

BA launched Club Suite on the A350-1000 in 2019 and has been retrofitting older widebodies ever since. The A350-1000, 787-10 and 777-300ER fleets are now 100% Club Suite, and the 787-8 retrofit completed in early 2026. The 787-9 programme is the laggard at just 4 of 18, and the A380 retrofit — which also brings a new First cabin — starts mid-2026.
