British Airways Club Suite Retrofit Tracker: Which Aircraft Have the New Cabin?

BA launched Club Suite on the A350-1000 in 2019 and has been retrofitting older widebodies ever since. The A350-1000, 787-10 and 777-300ER fleets are now 100% Club Suite, and the 787-8 retrofit completed in early 2026. The 787-9 programme is the laggard at just 4 of 18, and the A380 retrofit — which also brings a new First cabin — starts mid-2026.

Fleet rollout status

Total: 93 of 131 aircraft (71%) carry Club Suite.

  • Airbus A350-1000: 18 of 18 (100%) — All delivered with Club Suite. Complete.
  • Boeing 787-10: 12 of 12 (100%) — All delivered with Club Suite (48 seats). Complete. Now also based at Gatwick.
  • Boeing 777-300ER: 16 of 16 (100%) — Complete — G-STBA to G-STBP all converted.
  • Boeing 787-8: 12 of 12 (100%) — Retrofit completed early 2026. Earlier plans to retire these with the legacy cabin were dropped.
  • Boeing 777-200ER: 31 of 43 (72%) — Around 70% done. Heathrow-based aircraft are nearly all converted; the remaining legacy frames are concentrated at Gatwick.
  • Boeing 787-9: 4 of 18 (22%) — By far the slowest programme in the fleet — only G-ZBKA, G-ZBKF, G-ZBKR and G-ZBKS have been converted. Retrofitted aircraft have 38 Club Suites; the other 14 still have 42 Club World seats. Not due to finish until 2027.
  • Airbus A380: 0 of 12 (0%) — Retrofit starts mid-2026. Moves all 110 Club Suites to the upper deck in 1-2-1 and adds a new First cabin. No Club Suite A380s flying yet.
