What is SeatRadar?

SeatRadar is a flight information platform that helps travelers make informed decisions about premium cabin experiences. It analyzes historical flight data, aircraft registrations, and route patterns to predict which business class or first class product you are most likely to encounter on a specific flight.

Unlike traditional flight search engines that focus on price and schedule, SeatRadar specializes in cabin quality and aircraft details — helping you understand what to expect before you book.

How to Use SeatRadar

Step 1: Enter your flight number

Enter a flight number (e.g., "BA287", "QR1") using IATA or ICAO codes. The system also accepts route-based searches using airport codes.

Step 2: Review route analysis

SeatRadar displays recent flight history, aircraft types, cabin configurations, and route distance — giving you the context to assess what cabin product is most likely on your route.

Step 3: Explore cabin details

Each aircraft shows detailed cabin information including seat type (lie-flat, angled-flat, or upright), privacy features (suites and doors), in-flight entertainment, and Starlink connectivity where applicable.

Step 4: Make informed decisions

Use SeatRadar to choose flights with newer cabin products, avoid routes using older aircraft, and set realistic expectations before you book or redeem points.

Our Data Sources

Flight Tracking Data

We utilize real-time and historical flight tracking data from industry-leading FlightRadar24. This data includes aircraft registrations (tail numbers) for each flight, actual routes flown, and historical patterns going back weeks and months.

Aircraft Database

Our curated aircraft database contains detailed cabin configurations for each aircraft type and variant — including cabin product versions, in-flight amenities, and Starlink connectivity.

How We Make Predictions

SeatRadar uses historical pattern analysis to identify which aircraft have operated your route recently, how frequently each aircraft type appears, and seasonal or day-of-week variations. Recent data is weighted more heavily than older data. The result is a probability-weighted view of what cabin you are most likely to fly.

Important: Predictions are based on historical patterns and statistical analysis. Airlines may change aircraft assignments at any time. Always verify with your airline before making final travel decisions.
